2021_07_10 Crimdon,Hart Village and Blackhall Rocks

Leader : Michael          8.5 miles

It was raining when we left Darlington so we were pleased to find a fine morning when we reached Crimdon.

We set off past the Little Tern breeding sanctuary and passed through a field of Highland Cattle to reach Hart Village where we stopped for morning coffee.

After walking through the pretty village of Hart we followed field and woodland paths to Monk Hesledon. We continued on past Tweddle Farm to Blackhall Rocks where a pleasant spot was found on the cliff tops for a late lunch break.

It was then a reasonably short walk back along the cliff top path to Crimdon.

Our post walk drink was enjoyed at the Raby Arms at Hart Village.
