Great weather for a walk from the small but beautifully formed North Yorkshire village of Middleton Tyas today. Despite being close to the A1 at Scotch Corner the landscape around is very rural and tranquil.
Elevenses was enjoyed under the shade of a large tree en route and one of the giant weeping willow’s on the green at Barton provided welcome shade for lunch.
Ian Nelson enjoyed us for our post walk drink at the Shoulder of Mutton. So nice to be able to enjoy a drink outside a pub again!
Many thanks to Maz who took some fab pics today.
Also, thanks to Rebecca who led the main party back to Middleton Tyas from Barton.
