Marg reports :-
We headed off towards Langcliffe passing the B walkers climbing up with views of the Cotton Mill. Coffee stop was on the village Green. As we were finishing we were joined by the B Walkers.
We left Langcliffe walking along side the River Ribble and along the railway line to Craven Lime Kiln built in 1873 with 22 individual burning chambers.
We met up with the B group again who had taken a different route We left the Kiln and parted company with the B’s for the last time.
It was then onto Stainforth through the village crossing the beck and onto Catrigg Waterfall.
Down through the wood for a quick visit to the falls then back up followed by a short climb up for our lunch stop.
After lunch we headed back along the limestone scars with a climb up to visit Victoria Cave and back down.
A couple more climbs then it was downhill with spectacular views over the whole of Settle.
We finished off with a meal in the Talbot Arms before heading home
