Elaine reports that 8 walkers gathered above Castleton for Michael’s walk past the Sitting Man and along Castleton Rigg.

Down and across the Dale and onto Danby Rigg. our return via Danby completed the walk.

An enjoyable walk with great views. Sunny spells arrived as pre-ordered by Michael for elevenses and lunch.
